About the project
The brief was to create a high-performance outdoor wellness environment that could integrate seamlessly into its surroundings while meeting the demands of elite-level use. The result was a carefully considered installation focused on recovery, durability, and precision, delivering a refined wellness solution built to perform at the highest level.

Initial Consultation & Design Phase
The project began with a detailed consultation to understand the performance requirements, spatial constraints, and overall design intent. The objective was to create a setup that balanced visual restraint with practical functionality, ensuring the installation enhanced its setting without overpowering it.
The final specification centred around the Outdoor ONE sauna, selected for its clean architectural lines and proven performance, complemented by two Contrast Therapy baths to deliver a complete hot and cold recovery cycle aligned with professional-level use.

Preparation & Logistics
As with every project we do, detailed site requirements were provided from the outset to ensure a smooth and reliable installation. This included a solid, level concrete base and suitable electrical provision for the sauna, along with dedicated electrical supplies for each of the Contrast Therapy baths.
Defining these requirements early allowed all elements of the system to operate safely, efficiently, and as intended over the long term.
Following this, careful consideration was given to site preparation and logistics. Delivery access, positioning, and installation sequencing were all planned in advance to ensure each component could be installed with precision and minimal disruption.
This structured approach ensured the finished setup met both the technical demands of the equipment and the overall standards expected of a premium outdoor wellness installation.

Installation Site
Due to site access constraints, the outdoor sauna was assembled entirely on site by our experienced installation team. This process required careful coordination and sequencing, with each component delivered, handled, and installed individually to ensure accuracy and avoid any compromise to the finished structure.
From the base framework through to the insulation, cladding, glazing, and internal fittings, every stage of the build was executed with close attention to detail.
Particular focus was placed on precise alignment, structural integrity, and internal layout to ensure both performance and longevity. Positioning and orientation were carefully considered to optimise the user experience while allowing the sauna to sit naturally within its environment.
Despite being assembled on site, the completed sauna met the same build quality, finish, and performance standards as a factory-assembled unit, resulting in a seamless, high-quality outdoor wellness installation.

Contrast Therapy Bath Integration
At the stadium, two Contrast Therapy baths were installed specifically to support post-game recovery, one hot and one cold. Each unit was finished in bespoke materials, combining black Thermowood cladding with Wycombe FC blue detailing to align seamlessly with the club’s identity.
The installation included the integration of filtration, heating, and cooling systems, carefully commissioned to ensure consistent temperature control and reliable performance. Positioned for ease of use by players and staff, the setup allows for an efficient contrast therapy cycle, enabling immediate transition between hot and cold immersion as part of the club’s recovery protocol.

Sauna Installation
The internal specification of the cabin was carefully selected to deliver both performance and comfort at a professional level.
Finished in Grade 1 Canadian Hemlock, the interior provides a clean, refined aesthetic while offering excellent thermal stability for high-temperature sauna use.
Abachi benches were specified for their low heat retention and durability, ensuring comfort even during prolonged sessions. Integrated Bluetooth audio allows controlled sound within the cabin, while a powerful EOS sauna heater was installed to deliver fast heat-up times and achieve temperatures in excess of 100°C.
Together, these elements create a high-performance sauna interior designed for intensive, repeated use in a professional training environment.

Final Touches & Client Handover
Final checks and commissioning were completed to ensure every element of the installation was operating as intended.
Temperature performance, controls, and safety systems were tested, and the sauna and recovery equipment were fully brought up to operational condition.
The project concluded with a structured handover, including guidance on operation, best practice usage, and ongoing care to ensure long-term performance. This ensured the facilities were ready for immediate use, allowing the client to integrate the sauna and recovery systems seamlessly into their performance and recovery routines.
