About the project

For ML3 Wellness, we were presented with a complete blank canvas and tasked with creating a dedicated contrast therapy and recovery suite within the former Hamilton Academical Football Stadium. Working closely with the client, we designed and delivered a performance-focused wellness space featuring our ONE Pro Infrared Sauna, cold plunges and an advanced light therapy bed to support both members and athletes. The result is a seamless integration of premium design and advanced recovery technology, transforming an empty space into a purpose-built destination for recovery, performance and wellbeing.

Infrared Sauna Technology & Materials

For the ML3 Wellness project, our client selected the TRUE Infrared Technology ONE Pro Sauna, featuring four EOS infrared lamps alongside an additional ceiling heater to deliver full-body coverage and consistent performance.

The Sauna is finished in premium Abachi timber, designed as a visual model with a full glass front to create an open, contemporary feel within the space.

Warm white LED lighting and integrated Bluetooth speakers complete the experience, combining performance-led recovery with a refined, modern aesthetic.

Contrast Therapy in its Purist Form

To complete the contrast therapy experience, we installed two of our premium Cold Plunges, finished in a refined matte black to complement the overall aesthetic of the recovery suite.

Designed for both performance and reliability, each unit features a superior three-stage filtration system, ensuring consistently clean, temperature-controlled water for high-frequency commercial use.

The two Cold Plunges provide controlled cold-water immersion, with integrated cooling and filtration specified for repeated member use.

Positioned in front of the Infrared Sauna, the plunges form a key part of a fully integrated contrast therapy journey, delivering a powerful yet accessible recovery experience within the ML3 Wellness space.

Advanced Light Therapy Bed

As a defining feature within the ML3 Wellness suite, we installed a full-body light bed designed to anchor the space visually and functionally. Its LED system includes independently configurable red, near-infrared, green and blue light channels.

Positioned as a centrepiece within the facility, the bed includes touchscreen controls, configurable light modes and integrated cooling for repeated use by athletes and members.

Designed for commercial reliability and ease of use, the system offers consistent performance with minimal operational input, making it an accessible yet highly advanced addition to the wellness journey.

By combining cutting-edge technology with a strong visual presence, the light therapy bed elevates the entire recovery environment, reinforcing ML3 Wellness as a forward-thinking destination for modern performance and longevity.

Final Handover & Client Experience

Following final commissioning, testing and calibration, the ML3 Wellness recovery suite was handed over with a full on-site walkthrough, ensuring the team were completely confident operating every element of the facility from day one. From system controls through to daily operation and maintenance guidance, the space was delivered ready for immediate use, allowing members and athletes to experience the benefits without complication.

The result is a fully integrated, commercial-grade contrast therapy and recovery environment, combining a TRUE Infrared ONE Pro Sauna, dual cold plunges and an advanced full-body light therapy bed into one seamless wellness journey. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure reliability, ease of operation and long-term performance within a high-usage environment.
