About the project

Tucked discreetly within a beautifully designed bathroom, the brief for this Ladbroke Grove project was to create a truly luxurious sauna space for relaxation and escape. The client wanted a refined, high-quality traditional sauna that felt calm, considered, and seamlessly integrated into the surrounding interior, delivering authentic heat and a premium finish suited to everyday use.

Initial Consultation

The project began with a detailed consultation to understand how the sauna would be used and how it needed to integrate within the existing bathroom layout, including aligning the ironmongery with the rest of the property, specified in a dark bronze finish.

Key considerations included spatial constraints, ventilation, and achieving a calm, high-end aesthetic that complemented the surrounding interior.

Based on these requirements, a bespoke Traditional Sauna from our ONE range was specified, carefully sized and configured to deliver authentic sauna temperatures and superior build quality, ensuring the space functioned as a considered wellness retreat rather than a standard add-on.

Installation of the Traditional Sauna

Installation was carried out with precision due to the confined nature of the space, with the sauna assembled on site to ensure a seamless fit within the bathroom.

Particular attention was given to insulation, structure, and detailing to maximise heat retention and long-term performance.

The sauna heater was carefully specified and installed to deliver consistent, high-temperature performance, addressing one of the client’s key requirements. All components were positioned to balance functionality, comfort, and aesthetics, resulting in a cabin that feels both solid and refined.

Our Genius remote start and system management system was also integrated, allowing the client to operate and manage the sauna easily and efficiently remotely.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Following installation, the sauna was fully commissioned and tested to ensure optimal performance. This included bringing the cabin up to operating temperature to confirm heat output, stability, and recovery time, ensuring it could consistently achieve and maintain authentic sauna conditions.

An aroma stone was also incorporated, allowing the gentle infusion of essential oils to enhance the sensory experience and create a more immersive, spa-like environment.

All electrical connections, controls, and safety systems were checked, along with ventilation and airflow, to confirm the sauna was operating safely and comfortably.

This final testing phase ensured the installation was ready for immediate use and long-term reliability.

The project concluded with a comprehensive handover, guiding the client through the operation, controls, and key features of their new sauna, including advice on temperature settings, use, and ongoing care.
