About the project
We were approached by a client in Monaco to design and install a luxurious outdoor wellness setup that featured an infrared sauna and cold plunge, tailored to fit their terrace with a breathtaking view of Monaco Bay.
Initial Consultation & Design Phase
We began the project by conducting an initial consultation with the client, focusing on their wellness needs, space limitations, and aesthetic preferences. It was clear that they wanted to blend luxury with functionality, and the stunning view of Monaco Bay played a key role in the design.
A decision was made to incorporate the Outdoor One Infrared Sauna, known for its sleek design and advanced infrared technology, along with the Pure Chill Cold Plunge to complete the contrast therapy experience.
Preparation & Logistics
The next stage involved careful preparation of the terrace space. We worked with local contractors to ensure that the area was reinforced for the installation. Transporting the materials to Monaco also required meticulous planning, especially since the sauna’s full-glass front had to be safely delivered without damage.
All logistics were arranged to minimise disruption to the client’s daily routine, with a focus on ensuring precision in measurements and placement.
Sauna Installation
Once everything was in place, the installation of the Outdoor One Infrared Sauna began. Our team meticulously assembled the sauna, making sure to optimise its positioning to maximise the panoramic view of the bay.
The two infrared lamps were installed to ensure even heat distribution, providing the ultimate relaxation and therapeutic experience. The glass front not only provided the visual appeal but also allowed natural light to flow into the sauna space.
Cold Plunge Integration
After the sauna was installed, we moved on to integrate the Pure Chill Cold Plunge directly adjacent to the sauna. This phase involved setting up the cold plunge’s filtration and temperature control systems, ensuring that the client could experience contrast therapy seamlessly—moving from the heat of the infrared sauna to the refreshing cold plunge with ease.
Final Touches & Client Handover
Once the sauna and cold plunge were fully installed and tested, the final step was adding small yet important details, such as ergonomic seating and ambient lighting, to enhance the client's wellness experience before handing over the finished project client —a serene outdoor sanctuary that offers unmatched views and the ultimate in wellness luxury.
